Biography
Eric Thode is Senior Advisor for Labour Markets and Employment at Bertelsmann Foundation, a not-for-profit, independent think tank in Germany. He studied economics, statistics, and econometrics at the University of Kiel and worked as a research associate at the University of Würzburg. Since 2001, he has held various roles at the Bertelsmann Foundation, focusing on domestic as well as European employment and social policy. He has also taught at the University of Würzburg and Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences and is the author of numerous publications in his area of expertise.
