Biography
John McGeown is an Assistant Principal Officer in the Irish Government’s Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science. Since March 2023 he has held responsibility for the Digital Skills team. Prior to that he served in the Department’s Higher Education Division, crafting the Irish Government’s response to reform and funding of the sector, Funding the Future. In his earlier career he worked in a range of economic development and investment roles across the US and Europe.
