Biography
Anastasia Sachinidou is a public sector professional working at the intersection of European employment policy, social rights, and programme implementation. She has extensive experience in the design and delivery of EU co-funded initiatives supporting unemployed people, with a strong focus on vulnerable groups and inclusive labour market integration.
Her work addresses the practical challenges of implementing active labour market policies in complex governance environments, combining policy objectives with social innovation and collaborative approaches. She is actively involved in the National Contact Point (NCP) consortium for social innovation, contributing to policy learning, experimentation and the transfer of innovative practices at EU level.
She is a member of the ALMA network and the Community of Practice on Education, Employment and Skills, where she also serves on the Steering Group. At the Forum, she brings practical insights and lessons learned from Greece’s first participation under the EU ALMA call, where a successful pilot mobility scheme delivered strong results and is now being scaled up.
