Biography
Brigitte Fellahi-Brognaux is the Head of Unit for Inclusive and Social Entrepreneurship, promoting the social economy and social and inclusive entrepreneurship and designing policies and financial instruments to steer non-public sector investments for social objectives, within the Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion in the European Commission. She joined DG EMPL in 2015, as Head of Unit for programming and the coordination of the EaSI programme, after several years as Head of Unit in the Directorate-General for Budget. She previously worked in the Directorate-General for Research and Innovation. Before joining the European Commission in 1999, she was Head of Unit responsible for local budgets in the Home Office in France.
