Biography

Carrie is the Senior Counsellor and Deputy Director at the OECD Centre on Well-being, Inclusion, Sustainability and Equal Opportunity. The Centre generates new data and policy advice on people's living standards, well-being and economic opportunities, including mapping how living conditions are being impacted by ecological, digital and demographic transitions. Carrie supports the overall strategy and leadership of the Centre, guiding technical work to develop and analyse evidence on economic, social and environmental outcomes, and advancing innovative policy tools and approaches. Before joining the OECD, Carrie was a Policy Advisor in the United Kingdom Civil Service, including roles in strategy, private office, higher education, research and science policy, and the Apprenticeships Unit. She holds a doctorate in Experimental Psychology from Oxford University.
