Biography
Martina Grigorova is CEO of SIS Credit, the leading social finance institution in Bulgaria, with a core mission of job creation and social inclusion. SIS Credit is a pioneer in the management of ESF+ financial instruments, including under the Human Resources Development and Education operational programmes, supporting access to finance for vulnerable groups and emerging entrepreneurs.
Martina is deeply engaged in social and employment-focused initiatives at both national and European level. Her work includes the design of dedicated financial instruments, participation in expert working groups supporting vulnerable communities, and the development of entrepreneurial ecosystems, with a strong emphasis on youth entrepreneurship. She represents practitioners in European Commission working groups on the amendment and development of the European Code of Good Conduct for Microcredit Provision.
Since December 2022, Martina has been a Council Member of the Microfinance Centre, focusing on sector advocacy, cooperation with the European Commission, and microfinance investment strategy in Europe. Since 2023, she has served on the Advisory Board of the Bulgarian Minister of Labour and Social Affairs on Corporate Social Responsibility and is a member of EMN’s Advocacy Committee. She brings over 15 years of experience in the financial sector and holds a Master’s degree in Financial Management from the University of National and World Economy, Sofia.
