Description

The Labour Market and Wage Developments in Europe report provides an in-depth analysis of recent labour market and wage developments in the EU, the euro area and Member States, primarily from a macroeconomic perspective. This year's report takes a deeper look at one of the most pressing issues we currently face: job quality, including adequate wages, and competitiveness can and should go hand in hand. To create more high-quality jobs while keeping our economy competitive, we need a balanced policy mix to boost productivity, address shortages and support vulnerable workers. The report also examines how well-designed job retention schemes can support employment and incomes during economic crises.
