The EC-funded MoveS network (Free Movement and Social Security Coordination) will organise a seminar in Slovenia (Ljubljana) on Friday 23 May 2025.
The seminar is organised by MoveS in collaboration with its Slovenian national expert prof. Grega Strban. MoveS is an EC-funded network of independent experts from 32 European countries coordinated by Eftheia and Deloitte.
The Slovenian MoveS seminar will tackle with the challenges of the EU social security coordination from the Slovenian perspective. After presenting novelties at the EU level, distinctive cross-border topics, ranging from telework, healthcare, pensions, to unemployment benefits will be presented and discussed. Special session will be devoted to posting issues, such as implications of the cross-border services act, challenges when issuing of A1 form and tax treatment of posted workers. The seminar will conclude with a topic of the role of artificial intelligence in social security coordination.
