
The recent EQAVET PLA, held on 22-23 November 2023, brought together 40 participants representing more than 20 EU and Non-EU countries: Belgium, Bulgaria, Czechia, Croatia, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Ireland, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Montenegro, the Netherlands, Serbia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Spain, Portugal.
The PLA explored system and provider-level initiatives related to quality assuring digital tools and delivery in VET. With discussions at both levels, the event tackled crucial aspects, such as the use of Artificial Intelligence, ensuring digital competences of teachers and learners, and promoting equal access to digital learning opportunities.
The EQAVET Secretariat highlighted how EQAVET can address specific QA needs arising from digital tools and delivery. EQAVET offers a reference framework that serves as a toolbox for system-level stakeholders and providers, emphasising the importance of well-functioning QA in understanding the inputs, processes, outputs, and outcomes of VET.
Group discussions on both days addressed emerging QA needs from digital tools, implications on the EQAVET reference framework, and various QA measures. Participants shared reflections on stakeholder involvement and quality assurance practices from their respective countries, offering diverse perspectives.
