The document was prepared for the Peer Review of ‘Social Protection and inclusion of older persons’ in December 2024. The aim is to provide an overview of national policies on the provision of care services to older people and to describe how reforms leading to a shift from state responsibility to individual responsibility are prepared and implemented.
