This paper was prepared for the Peer Review on ‘Social Protection and inclusion for older persons’ in Oslo on 3 and 4 December 2024. The aim is to provide an overview of national policies for the provision of social and health care services for older persons in Slovenia. The document provides examples of good practice in Slovenia that can be transferable also to other countries and some of the challenges Slovenia faces in the field of long-term and short-term care.
