The camp will offer an interactive and co-creative approach, allowing participants to exchange best practices and explore innovative teaching methods, effective partnerships, and strong governance and funding mechanisms in Vocational Education and Training (VET). To prepare for discussions, attendees will complete a self-assessment using ISATCOVE before the event.
Three leading Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVEs)—Talentjourney, GreenoVET, and PoVE Water—will guide the sessions, sharing their experiences, tools, and strategies to enhance VET learning outcomes.
Organized under the EU-funded Internationalising Vocational Excellence project, the camp is implemented by the European Training Foundation (ETF) in collaboration with EfVET, EVBB, and EVTA.
This is a unique opportunity to learn, collaborate, and contribute to the future of vocational excellence.
The camp is designed to bring together Centres of Vocational Excellence with different levels of experience in vocational excellence. To ensure that participants get the most out of the camp, each participant must be fluent in English and represent a centre that meets the following requirements:
- Passion and commitment to vocational excellence: the centre should demonstrate a deep passion for VET, with a strong commitment to driving continuous improvement and innovation.
- Learner-centred focus: the centre should prioritise the learner journey, ensuring that their offerings are tailored to individual needs and designed to support both personal and professional growth.
- Forward-looking and adaptive: the Centre should proactively anticipate and address experienceits levels the major changes and challenges of today and tomorrow. This includes preparing and knowledge needed to meet the challenges of an unpredictable future.
- Committed to implement ISATCOVE before the start of the Camp.
The EU aims at introducing a European dimension of vocational excellence, both by encouraging Member States to establish CoVEs that contribute to create skills ecosystems responding to local needs, and by supporting international collaborative networks bringing together CoVEs that share a common interest in developing skills ecosystems. The Erasmus+ funding for Centres of Vocational Excellence and the International Self-Assessment Tool for Centres of Vocational Excellence support this endeavour.
Engaging with the CoVE initiative connects you with a community deeply invested in vocational excellence across and beyond Europe, where stakeholders from various sectors engage, share experiences, and collaborate on projects that enhance vocational training's quality and relevance. Whether you're looking to make a commitment, explore partnerships, or simply stay informed about the latest developments in vocational training, CoVEs provide a platform for meaningful participation and innovation.
