The European Public Service Union (EPSU) and social employers have signed a new framework of action to boost retention and recruitment in the care sector. It aims at facing the persistent staff shortages and high turnover rates of care workers.

The European Commission has launched a public consultation and a call for evidence on the new Action Plan to implement the European Pillar of Social Rights. They ask citizens and stakeholders for their views on the impact of the 2021 Action Plan and any lessons learned.

A call for proposals to support EU-level social NGO Networks is open between 5 February – 8 April (17:00:00 CET) 2025. It aims to set up 4-year framework partnership agreements with EU-level networks.

The Commission has unveiled the second part of the European Semester Autumn Package, which includes the Commission’s proposal for a recommendation on the economic policy of the euro area for 2025, the 2025 Alert Mechanism Report, and the Commission’s proposal for the 2025 Joint Employment Report.
