Today, the Commission published a Special Eurobarometer on “Fairness perceptions of the green transition”, based on a survey carried out between May and June 2022.

The European Commission adopted its Partnership Agreement with Croatia for a total of €9 billion from Cohesion Policy for the period 2021-2027 to promote the economic, social and territorial cohesion of its regions and its green and digital transitions. These investments will help reduce regional economic disparities and enhance skills, training, and employment opportunities.

Romania will receive a total of €31.5 billion from Cohesion Policy in 2021-2027 in the framework of its Partnership Agreement with the Commission to promote the economic, social and territorial cohesion of its regions and its green and digital transition. The EU funds will also support the development of a competitive, innovative and export-oriented Romanian economy.

Estonia will receive €3.5 billion Cohesion Policy funding to support economic, social and territorial cohesion in 2021-2027 in the framework of the Partnership Agreement between the Commission and Estonia, which was adopted today. This Agreement will also support the implementation of key EU priorities such as the green and digital transition and contribute to competitive, innovative and export-oriented growth.
Employment and social affairs ministers adopted today a joint policy framework for ensuring a fair and inclusive green transition in the context of the Green Deal and the EU’s push for energy security.
