A recent report explores the fight against homelessness and its connection to broader anti-poverty policies. It aims at guiding EU countries in developing effective strategies and addressing investment gap to eradicate homelessness.

The European Commission launched the process to seek views on the upcoming EU Anti-Poverty Strategy, the first of its kind at EU level. The strategy will aim to provide essential protection to people and tackle the root causes of poverty.

14 June 2024 marked the 3rd anniversary of the European Child Guarantee. On this occasion Child Guarantee Coordinators from 23 Member States met to discuss actions that they are carrying out in their countries.

Representatives of the national parliaments discussed the state of play of the European Child Guarantee and best practices related to it. They met on 28 June 2023, during an Interparliamentary meeting at the European Parliament to commemorate the two-year milestone of the European Child Guarantee.
To mark the second anniversary of adoption of the European Child Guarantee recommendation, a meeting was held in Brussels on 20 June 2023. The meeting aimed at discussing the implementation in Member States of the different actions of the Child Guarantee.

The 10th meeting of the Child Guarantee Coordinators took place in Dublin to discuss governance and monitoring of the European Child Guarantee.
