PES Network Stakeholder Conference 2023: ‘Empowering the Workforce, Bridging the Skills Gap’

This year, the event examined how PES and the wider skills ecosystem are meeting the objectives of the European Year of Skills. The conference delved into ways in which PES and stakeholders can jointly contribute to more effective and inclusive training and upskilling, identify skills that are relevant to labour market needs and match jobseeker aspirations.

The event also exchanged on PES and partner practices aimed at attracting and integrating third country nationals in the European labour market.

The conference featured a mix of panel discussions, thematic and collaborative workshops to explore trends and prospects related to skills, as well as the latest practices of PES and their partners to address the challenge of upskilling and reskilling the workforce.
