The Network is governed by a Board, where each Member State and the Commission are represented by two members. The Board meets twice a year to conduct strategic discussions and take decisions on the activities of the Network.
According to the PES Network Decision, the Board appoints a Chair and Vice-Chair of the Network from among the PES members of the Network, for a term of office of 2 years. The Chair and Vice-Chair provide strategic leadership of the Network while cooperating with members to ensure active participation of all members in activities and implementation of the Work Programme.
