This catalogue, which the Commission produced with the help of the European Disability Expertise (EDE) project and the members of the Disability Platform subgroup on employment, is one of the Disability Employment Package’s deliverables.

This edition of the JER is the first to report on progress towards the 2030 EU and national employment, skills and social targets. It also has a stronger country-specific focus in line with the principles of a Social Convergence Framework.

This year’s edition discusses the situation and prospects for the EU labour market, which has continued to perform well notwithstanding the economic slowdown and an economic context characterised by persistent uncertainty.

To our knowledge, this paper is the first to analyse the impacts of recently observed price changes on (expenditure-based) energy and transport poverty and along the income distribution at EU level. It does so by using household survey micro-data in a static simulation exercise.

This Thematic Review aims to highlight examples of policies, research and social dialogue practices in EU Member States to ensure a fair green transition. It examines existing research on the impact of the green transition on the economy to date.

Based on key indicators and thematic work, the report indicates that despite economic growth slowing down over 2022 in the EU employment continued to expand and the level of poverty and social exclusion remained stable at EU level, at 21.6% of the population in 2022 (compared to 21.7% in 2021).

This paper contributes to previous studies of the distributive impact of recent high inflation in EU Member States. It finds a substantial rise in effective inflation dispersion across households and confirms that lower-income households continue to experience higher inflation.

This report examines if children in low-income households in the 27 EU countries have effective and free access to high-quality education and care, education and school-based activities, one healthy meal each school day, and healthcare; effective access to healthy nutrition and adequate housing.
