Description
The wider objective of this peer review was to present and exchange about related approaches and measures taken by the peer countries Bulgaria, Greece, and Germany regarding the monitoring of health and well-being as well as quality assurance within residential care settings, particularly for individuals living with disabilities or health conditions requiring long-term care. While many of the approaches discussed emerged during the COVID-19 pandemic, the goal was to identify measures that could be included in an integrated social and health-care approach and harness and build upon lessons learned to further improve long-term care in the respective countries.
