Thematic Learning Dialogue: Norway – Crisis Management

The TLD addressed the topic of crisis management and featured presentations from the host PES on:

• Risk assessment and crisis management;
• Crisis management system - how does the NAV crisis management system work;
• Crisis management at local level - how to organise and use templates at management level;
• How to handle a crisis in NAV (training of the strategic level).

Participating PES identified crucial needs in relation to their work on crisis management, potential need for further information and support, as well as ways of adapting the approach presented by the Norwegian PES (NAV) to their institutional, organisational and economic conditions.
