EAfA members invited to join sixth EAfA seminar for partner countries

The in-person event will enable learning between ETF partner countries and EAfA members: governments, businesses, social partners, chambers, vocational education and training (VET) providers, regions and apprentice representatives. 

The joint ETF−EAfA event will allow participants to explore the challenges and opportunities in developing and implementing apprenticeship systems and schemes with a focus on high-level apprenticeship and in-company trainers. Attendees will also learn about how the Piemonte Region (Italy) is developing effective apprenticeship programmes at different levels. 

The event will include site visits to showcase different segments of the Italian apprenticeship system, namely at initial VET level and higher education level. It will feature speakers from DG Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion, EU social partners, the Western Balkans Alliance for Work-Based Learning, EU Member States, as well as presentations from schools and companies.  

Interpretation will be provided in English and Italian during the site visits.
