Four EaSI Technical Assistance Workshops at the 19th EMN Annual Conference 2022.

The workshops are taking place between 15 - 17 June 2022, within the pre-conference and the actual EMN Annual Conference days.

15 June 2022: Pre-conference day

• The Microfinance Workshop “InvestEU practical Session for MFIs” on the pre-conference day introduces the legacy of the EaSI TA Programme. The introduction of the new InvestEU Programme will be held by high-profile speakers from Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion of the Commission, and the EIF. 

16 June 2022: 1^st Conference Day

• The second Microfinance Workshop “What role can financial inclusion actors play under the Social Economy Action Plan?’’ sheds light on the new Social Economy Action Plan - a new rulebook to unleash the potential for sustainable and inclusive growth of the Social Economy. Participating institutions will hear some first-hand insides of the new plan and how it is implemented across the microfinance sector in Europe. 
• The third Microfinance Workshop “Greening inclusive finance” will focus on how MFIs can adjust their products to better contribute to the green transformation. Topics: Green EU Taxonomy + upcoming final report on social taxonomy.

17 June 2022: 2^nd Conference Day

• The fourth Microfinance Workshop “Financial inclusion for migrants and refugees: East and West experiences” closes the series of the EaSI TA Workshops at the Conference. This session will cover the ongoing refugee crisis resulting from the war on Ukraine. Participants will hear how microfinance institutions can integrate and foster the stability of refugees across Eastern and Western Europe. Testimonies from Italy and Greece will delve into microfinance's role in refugee integration.
