Get ready for the 2023 European Vocational Skills Week!

This year’s edition will take place between 23 and 27 October and will feature a variety of events, organised by stakeholders, including: 

• Spanish Presidency Conference on recognition of VET qualifications – 23-24 October (in-person event in Seville, Spain); 

• Meeting of the Directors-General in VET in Spain – 25-26 October (event for representatives from the Ministries in charge of VET from 35 countries); 

• EQAVET webinar: Creating a quality culture in VET – Trends and developments in quality assurance for VET providers – 26 October (online event, register by 19 October); 

• OECD webinar on VET ‘Education at a glance’ – 26 October (online event – link will be published on the EVSW website); 

• Event organised by European Associations of VET providers – 27 October (in-person event, register here). 

EQAVET webinar on creating a quality culture in VET 

One webinar that EAfA members might find particularly interesting will explore examples of system-level initiatives and quality assurance tools for VET providers. The presenters will do a deep-dive into the impact of different VET systems, common challenges and innovative solutions. 

This webinar is organised by the European Quality Assurance in Vocational Education and Training (EQAVET) and will take place on 26 October 2023 from 14:00 to 15:30 CEST.

The 2023 European Vocational Skills Week will be embedded in the 2023 European Year of Skills (EYS). If you are a VET stakeholder, we encourage you to add your planned events to the EYS website via this form. By sharing your events and activities, you can raise awareness about them and reach a wider European audience.
