The Minimum Income Network (MINET) working group was set up by the Social Protection Committee to exchange experience and good practices in the field of minimum income and to facilitate mutual learning and cooperation among Member States’ experts in the field.
It followed up on the peer review exchanges and structured dialogues with national representatives and the Council Conclusions on strengthening minimum income protection to combat poverty and social exclusion in the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.
Organisation
Member States are represented in the working group by two core and one alternative member having expertise in policy areas related to minimum income.
The mandate of the group lasts until 31 December 2025.
The work of the group is assisted by a secretariat provided by the Commission.
