Description
On Tuesday 1 March the European Movement International will hold the 11th edition of Talking Europe, organised in partnership with the European Commission.
This series of online events, launched in 2020, discusses the EU's work and how it affects all Europeans. It aims to foster a debate on the European Union's work and its impact on the everyday lives of citizens, involving stakeholders from civil society, political institutions and the wider European community.
Director-General Joost Korte has been invited as a special guest, and will discuss the recent work of DG EMPL, including the European Employment Strategy, social inclusion with regards to the Covid-19 crisis and recent developments in the green and digital transitions strategy. The talk will be moderated by Petros Fassoulas, Secretary General of the European Movement International.
